The BSA Owners' Club is a members’ club for those interested in the preservation of the BSA marque. Whether you own or have an interest in a classic BSA or the new BSA Gold Star.
When you join the Club and during your period of membership we collect the following Data from you:
Name and Address Email Address Telephone Number(s)
This Data is necessary to administer the Club and to send you your regular copy of the Club magazine, “The Star". The Data is kept as long as you are a member and for 12 months thereafter, to make it easier for you to rejoin if you wish. All data is managed by the Membership Secretary.
We do not share the Data with any Third Parties, save for the fact that we provide a mailing list containing names and addresses to our printer to enable the distribution of the monthly issue of the The Star magazine. Once the magazine has been despatched our printer deletes this mailing list.
Other than for the distribution of the Star by Crewe Colour Printers, the membership secretary can only give out its members' names and addresses in the following circumstances.
On the request of a Branch Committee or National Committee we can send out a letter or leaflet to all members, or a specfic group of members. Branch Secretaries are allowed to request a list of all their branch members.
We cannot disclose any members details to any other member. Supply a list of all members, nationwide or area/group specific and any branch secretary or individual member.
We do not sell or rent out Data to any Third Party.
You are entitled to view, amend the personal information that we hold either via the members area of the website or by an email to membership@bsaownersclub.co.uk. Requests to delete your data must be sent to the membership secretary. Please note, however, that if you request that your Data be deleted it will no longer be possible to provide you with the services offered by the Club.
