Hi, colleagues.
I've taken over a C25 recently and needed to do some work involving removal of kick-start pedal. When I came to refit (& yes, OK, I did use a new cotter pin)  I found the pin would only align correctly when the kick start was seated further down on the shaft than previous and quite close to the crank case. A check revealed the previous cotter pin had been "adjusted" - a bit filed off one side, to allow the kick start to be pulled away from the crank case and align with the end of its shaft. So, to my question:-
Can someone out there let me know either in mm or imperial,  the start point of the cut out portion of the shaft from the outside end of the shaft that protrudes through the crank case.  Also, the width of the cut-out section which the cotter pin slides on to.  I can then determine if I need to do a bit of cutting & filing,  or find a replacement shaft or maybe even,   it could be the incorrect kick-start lever for the bike.
The lever does not currently clunk the exhaust, so not really an issue - would just be nice to get it right.  Many thanks. Tony.
