Firebird seat 1971

hello, I am currently restoring my first BSA twin, a 1971 Firebird brought back from the US. I need a seat / cover and my parts book shows 83-3633 for all models. I have seen mention of this number with US tacked on the end which has a narrower front end. Does anyone have a measurement for this ? My seat looks quite wide? Pic attached hopefully. Any info gratefully received.

Hi just been round and looked at my F/B and the seat is exactly the same as my Thunderbolt. I do not know much about the history of the bike save but the same as you bought back from the States. Regards Jim
