Having never owned an A10 before , can someone explain how to set up the cork in the breather .as am having trouble getting a decent oil return.  .thanx .

With inner timing cover assembled the cork should be just pinched between the valve and cam pinion. No float. There will probably be some rock between the hole in valve and peg on cam pinion.

This will not have an effect on your oil return. You will need to look to the filters, pipes and pump if poor return. The scavenge side of the pump has greater capacity than the feed, to stop oil build up in the sump, so there will be some spurting seen from return in the tank.
