Amal 10TT9 carb

I have a 500 ZB33 A competition engine, with an Amal 10TT9 carb. Runs well but I have noticed that when moving the throttle from shut to accelerate the carb has a flat spot and misses a couple of beats at the same spot each time. has anyone any ideas how to cure this problem. cheers Gray.
