Hi all
Just established that my bike purchased as a Road Rocket is in fact a Super Rocket with a RGS engine
Thanks to DEREKANDERSON8 JULIANS and the BSAOC national secretary, a very very pleasing outcome to my enquiry, the bike is currently blue ( pic hopefully attached ) not sure if the SR was ever supplied in this colour or not I would like to change to royal red which I believe is the later brighter red the SR was supplied in I would be grateful for any input or pointers on this and fingers crossed perhaps a paint code for the nearest red to the royal red
Many thanks
Dave Mitchell

My bike is a 1958 A7SS

Home market Super Rockets usually came with red petrol tank and mudguards and blck oil tank and toolbox, alternative was princess grey or black. Princess grey rarely seen.

It's best to get the paint from RS Paints if you want an accurate match to the original colour. They are not cheap but in my experience the quality of their paint is second to none.

Blue was a home market Golden Flash colour option - sapphire blue.

US market Rockets came with blue tank some years, but with chrome guards.
