Hello all - I'm a new member and have just started restoring a 1970 Canadian A65T. I've downloaded a Workshop Manual, the Parts Book and the Owner's Manual and have also bought a Haynes Manual. There are lots of things missing and others that will no doubt need replacing, but I have a very helpful Parts Shop locally (TMS Nottingham) where I can get most of the parts I'll need.

I do have a working bike as well, but this is my first major bike restoration - my last project was a 1961 BMW Isetta bubble car - so I will definitely appreciate any help you can give me, especially how to do things that may be obvious once you've done them a few times but will have me scratching my head!

Thanks in advance, Mike Scott

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the Forum and BSA ownership. All questions is not worthy of an answer so ask away. It is what this forum is for.
Have you actually joined the BSAOC as well as signing up on here?

The A65 is a great bike to work on and nice to ride.

Dave.

Keep posting questions. Its always good to get some advice before you get too deep into a job, don't wait until you hit a problem.

OK, first question (there will be lots more!) - does anyone know of a good bike breaker who might have A65 parts? As I've said, there's a lot missing and I'd prefer good used to buying new.

Thanks.
