New Gold Star Crash Bars

I'm trying to fit crash bars to my 2023 Gold Star and have it a snag.
According to the instructions, the offside crash bar lower mount should line up with a suitable hole on the lower frame down tube. Mine lines up with the down tube itself but that in no hole or bracket to accept it. If any has crash bars fitted, and could send me a pic of where the lower bracket bolts on, I would be most grateful.

Chris, the answer is given here by Lumpy Carbs.

"Unfortunately a few early Gold Stars omitted the fixing lug for the dresser bar on frame so that's why you have a problem. It's not covered by warranty so some fettling will be required.

I did think this might be the case. Clearly making it up as they go along! Someone decided "ooh!, crash bars would be a useful accessory, without thinking that extra mounting would probably be needed. Sod the fact that many customers wouldnt be able to use them!!!"
A mate of mine in the Hampshire Branch has a Legacy, which as most of us know were delayed in getting into the country after the launch. His has the same problem.
