Paint codes

Hi all,
I'm new to bsa ownership,  and have recently bought a BSA A10 Golden Flash 1955 plunger,  Is there a way of finding out the original paint colour it left the factory with?

Checked this out offline and confirmed it was Black when shipped in 1950. 

Don't forget you can get a Dating Certificate for your bike from the Club at a very reasonable price to confirm when and where it was shipped ... have a look on the website for details.
