Could anyone tell me the part number for the twin lip seal you can fit. Or the dimensions of the seal so i can do a search.
Thanks

Ian C

The BSA part number for the Mainshaft Bearing Seal is 68-0027. Obviously you could help this seal by fitting a sealed output bearing also (part no. 57-0448). HTH

Thanks for that but the bearing is fine i just want to fit a twin lop seal.

SKF sell the double lipped seal which srm supply in their kits. Though I get mine from Simply Bearings

CR15655 is the SKF part number

Tip of the day: heat the gearbox casing with an electric heat gun before inserting the seal, that way it will push straight in without any bashing to make it fit.
