A65 hepalite pistons

Has anyone anyone fitted a set of new hepalite pistons, if so did you have any troubel with the oil control rings

Yes I have fitted two A65's and have one on the bench ready to have barrells etc fitted. No probs at the mo but we are talking extremely low mileage.

I have heard that the pistons are OK but the rings aint up to much. I cant honestly comment on that and indeed would be pleased to hear from anyone with positive info.

fitted them ok on the Triumph 500.
only thing is being three part they were fiddly, not sure if its the same as BSA ones as the A50 is still waiting and the pistons were in red boxes.
