B175 Battery holder

Hi guys Im attempting my first Bantam restoration project and the wire battery retaining device has broken i was going to fabricate a new one could one of you guys possibly give me the measurements Just the wire part please Thanks Ian

I fabricated the one for my D14/4 and I believe the one on the B175 is identical. As far as I can remember, I just made the wire strap the same height and width as the metal carrier it attaches to and built in the kink at the back shown in the attached drawing. The only complication I faced was the design of the clasp which I based on the details for a C15/B50 given in Rupert Ratio Vol. 2. If you already have the catch that makes fabricating the wire strap much easier.
