Control box / Voltage regulator

Hi all got a 1953 A7 which is a new experience to me.It's got a control box on rear mudguard,is there a modern replacement available.Cheers Gordon.

Yes. Dynamo Regulators Ltd. You can fit as replacement on 6 volt or use the same unit to convert to 12 volt if need be. Look in the Star BSA mag where they advertise.

AO services. I have fitted lots of their units and they fit inside an old regulator shell.
