1934 500 Blue Star rear mudguard

The hinge fixing area of the rear guard of my Blue Star is a bit of a mess (see pic, ignore terrible wiring connections - not my doing). Would some kind soul post a photo of what this should look like - I've not been able to find a good enough photo on the net.
