Hello all, first post
I've got a victor b44, bit of a mongrel 67 frame and a 69 engine.
dont know if its a hens teeth thing but I cant find headlamp brackets  to suit
Ive got a pair that came with but they are too big, from the 68 on models.
The 67 frame has the narrow yokes so according to Mr Ratio 5 and 13/16"  from from C of pinch bolt hole to top.
original fit would have been trouser type but I'm going for shorter and gaiters.
So.. question is, can anyone tell me what brackets if any from other models will fit?

Cannot help you but I have a similar problem - I needed a single upper shroud with integral headlamp bracket and located such at a well known (permanent advertiser in the Star) BSA stockist - I had to purchase a pair @ £85.00 hard earned, at the point I was installing same it became apparent that the aperture which fits over the bottom yoke was too small, it will never fit without machining (read attacking the slot with the angle grinder & a 1mm steel cutting disc) and no guarantee that the pinch bolt bracket will line up with the pinch bolt holes in the yoke! Not a lot of assistance from retailer, probably will return them! The search will continue. Irony personified, the shrouds are prominently stamped 'Made in Great Britain'!  - BSA B33

just in case anyone has the same problem!
The headlight brackets from earlier C15T, C15CSR or B40E models are what you would need to use. Later headlight brackets are too long between the lower fork yoke pinch bolts and the underside of the top fork yoke.
Thus you could get either:
40-5158-9  or 40-5099-100.
