Battery charging

Hello my C15 is 12v positive earth and I was going to connect a smart battery charger. Coming from cars and bikes that are all negative earth do you still connect the charger red to positive, black to negative, on a positive earth system. Apologies to ask but was just wiring a plug across the battery terminals to allow the charger to be easily plugged in when the bike is bike is parked up when I stopped short and thought I had better double check.      Yes, charger positive to battery positive and charger negative to battery negative.
