The person I bought the bike from seems to have about 30 vintage bikes of all different makes, not a passion for any make specifically, he had a very nice expensive custom paint job done on this bike thinking it was a Lightning, and did a beautiful 650 Lightning lettering on the side panels, ITS A THUNDERBOLT!

Welcome to the Forum.  For a bike as described I would think that the price paid is reasonable.  It would be great to see a photo of it.
