A50 top yoke cover removal...

Hello everyone

New member and new to the BSA marque thanks to acquiring this 1963 A50 (pic attached)

Just reaching out for a little guidance.

My speedo is behaving extremely eraticly in that it jumps around the dial and points at random speeds with no relation to whats actually happening on the road.

I'd like to check the connection at the back of the speedo unit and to do so I'm wondering, how do i access it. Do i go in via the headlight lens or via the top yoke cover?

If it's the latter, can anyone advise how to remove the top yoke cover (shown) ?

Remove the headlight lens unit and the speedo connection will be visible
