Hi Guys
I am rebuilding a 1950 plunger B31, and want to fit a solo saddle. I have brought a wasselll one from Dragonfly (large lycett type) but when you offer it up with the springs on it appears to be the right width but to long (about 14inches) to fit the cutaway in the tank properly. Has anyone got any pictures or measurements of the correct one or has anybody fitted an after market one

Thanks
Dedge

On my 1952 model the saddle measures 13.5" from back to front, the support springs are on 8.75" centres and the front mounting bolt centre line is 11.5" from a line connecting the support springs. It fits in the tank cut out. The front crossbolt is, however, attached to the saddle metalwork using two extension plates, one fitting on either side of the frame mounted boss just behind the tank. I am trying to work out how to attach a picture.

Hi there,
I have a rigid B31 and I think the Small Lycet seat is the one to use
Cheers

Looks like a bit of a bodge up - I will fit something more reliable
