Damaged Crankcase

Hi all

When removing a crankshaft bearing, part of the crankcase also came out    (very thin at that point)
After looking closely at the damage, I've come to the conclusion that it shouldn't really affect anything.

Thoughts?

it certainly is thin there

but personally, i would get it checked for any hairline crack running away from this area - safe than sorry
