Hi Chris, just read your problem with C15 with high compression piston.I done very same as you bought from ebay barrel and piston and like you piston hit head,very annoying as advertised as straight fit, mine was C15ss like yours. My solution was to take an old copper 1mm head gasket modified and used as barrel base gasket this gave me enough clearance, bike pulled like a train for a 250cc but of course it was slightly more than that now.  Would like to know what you done,  JIM

Try Cox and Turner in Tintinhull near Yeovil, they may have a correct piston for you, save messing about.
