A65 Points plate

[Toolbox]

Chaps - can anyone advise where i might get hold of a points backing plate including adjusting cams, for my A65 Lightning please?

I've tried my normal folks - Draganfly / British Bike bits etc... and no luck with any of them so far.

Any clues?

Cheers in advance for any comments!

Assuming its the standard normal backing plate I've got one you can have for a tenner plus postage. I'll check later but its probably still got an old set of points on it.

Thanks Mike! how do we work that then from here?

Are the cams okay at the backing plate usable? This is a new bike to me and the cams are screwed and some threads in the backing plate are stripped - I can probably overcome somehow but new / good used preferred!

Let me know how we can connect to get this underway.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi Dave.

I have a back plate with points and condensers attached that you are welcome to. I think it came off my A50 when I converted to electronic three or four years ago.

Send me your phone No to 07771660471 and I'll text you a couple of pics.
