Chain advice

Can anyone help me locate a correct final drive chain for my 67 hornet? I approached a recommended chain dealer in manchester explaining that i required  a Renold 5/8×3/8 at 106 links! He told me that he knew what the measurements were but no good! He required modern dimensions as they supplied foreign chain far superior to Renold! What exactly should i be useing and what are your recommendations? Many thanks,Dave.
