I have a recently aquired B25 with Boyer Bransden ignition, I have had it running a couple of times but now all I get is it fires up then almost imediately cuts out, just wonderinbg whether it could be a faulty coil, what does the team think?

No mate, none of these, all checked.

Hello TTJohn, Just curious - did you find out the cause? (I have no idea, being new to this.)   Phil.

Not yet Phil, I have just got a new carb and I'll give that a go, I have left it foe a while though as I've been working on other bikes.

My bet is a blocked pilot jet

Disconnect the fuel pipe from the carb. check that you get a good flow of fuel.

New carb and set up did the trick, I can now report that the starting issue has been solved, I also went out on Thursday last just to try it out, one or two teething problems which were quickly overcome, so I now have a nice little bike to poodle along on, while I spend some time on the others.
Thanks all for all the advice and suggestions.

Kind regards TTJohn
