Hello all,

I'm just finishing off putting my '36 Blue Star back together after a post purchase check over. It's been sat on the ramp for over 12 months!

When I originally took the tank off the two gland nuts were wrapped in PTFE tape and there was evidence of silicone sealant around the pipe. On trying to put it back on today I can see why. One of the gland nuts has a very worn thread to the point it will not tighten. Where can I get replacement gland nuts and ferrules from to make up a new tube? I'm confident the nuts are 3/8" BSP

Thanks,

Stuart

Hi Dean, do you have a link.?

Link pipes that Dragonfly sell don't match the 3 7/8" pitch of mine and I can't find the 3/8" BSP gland nuts on there site. Maybe I can't see for looking as they say..

Cheers,

Stuart

Now I look closley I can't find exactly what you want on Drags site, Sorry for red herring. Try here
https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/search?query=pipe+fittings
they seem to have a wider range
I had similare frustrations trying to make up oil pipes for the B28
good luck

No problem Dean, thanks for the Vintage supplies link. They have just what I need.

Ordered from The Green Spark Plug site in the end, same parts but a better price.
