I found a website, but can now not find it again, showing how the rear footpegs, spacers and brackets should be assembled to secure the silencers in the correct position.
Mine touch the frame and so would like to resort out the order the silencer brackets are fixed to sort this.
After hours of searching I cannot find the online website that had all the pictures showing the correct assembly order of the rear footpegs and brackets.
I have also searched long and hard and can't find a picture anywhere that shows the rear pegs clearly, the exploded diagram in the spares book does not show this on one page but in two sections with part of it on each page, even the workshop manual doesn't make this clear.
Does anybody know of or have pictures on this assembly order so I can rejig mine the correct way?
I think mine may be mounted on the wrong side of the frame and I suspect I have two small spacers missing.

Have you looked at the June '20 post: 'A65 silencer mounting brackets distance piece'?

Thats the pics I found then couldn't find again!
unfortunately even more confused as the pics show two completely different fitments.
My bike has no spacers and the brackets are fitting inboard, the silencers both touch the frame. I think if I moved them outboard and particularly if I fitted the spacers the kickstart would hit the silencer, also the exhaust are already not parallel, they splay out from each other going back and moving the brackets will make this worse.
Haven't tried moving anything as yet as I am doing a fair amount of other fettling and adjustments at the moment with lots of other bits and bobs that need properly fitted but just looking ahead to this and having the right parts available when I do.

I have found a contemporary pic of a 66 Lightning that shows the brackets on the inside of the frame and no spacers like one of the pics in the thread.
If this is correct then what are the spacers and the pic showing the bracket outboard of the frame from?
