Ahh, now theres a thought I hadnt thought of!!
The A50 chop has open springs that were yellow, same as bike. now getting coated black , the new bike colour. bought a pair of heavy duty gaiters to go over them, but not thought about ties. black cable ties match , stainless look good but yes, they will ride up!!! cr@p.
the bottom slips over the seal holder and the lip at the top and a cable tie stops it riding up but the top is held at the top by friction and a tie.
If you mean the upper sleeves , mine are chrome tubes not headlamp ears, they should stay in place with ties.

Hi,
I have these adaptors which worked fine on a A65. Cant remember where I got them or for which bike, I can give you a drawing if you want to get them made. Probably best to measure your application though

Best wishes

The fork shrouds on my 1965 (-ish) Lightning extend below the lower yoke, giving something for the gaitors to grip on....
