1957 Road Rocket wheel alignment

Hello, I am restoring a 1957 Road Rocket. My question is, with the Ariel hubs, should there be an offset on either wheels please? I have read differing articles so I am unsure of the actual answer. Is there an expert out there that has this knowledge. Thank you.

1 23/32 inch from centre line of rim to face of ballrace on brake side.
