Hello all,
New here and after information on the infamous RGS
The story goes that Eddie Dow built the 1st one for a customer using a Goldstar frame and accessories  and fitted a super rocket engine.  I have read that he was buying goldstar frames from BSA and fitting the SR motor for a period prior to BSA taking the project in house in 1962.
Anyone any idea when he built the 1st one and how many he produced before BSA took over. There must be a few? Eddie Dow versions about.
Why do I ask? I have a 57 Goldstar frame fitted with 60 SR engine and all the other Goldstar trimmings. Wonder if this is a BSA RGS replica or a replica of Eddie Dow RGS replica and how it fits in with the model in general.
Appreciate any help advice.
