Hi,
I am preparing to submt a "Retention of existing registration" application. Together with the photos, rubbings and forms, I have the buff logbook as evidence.
Is it possible to get a locally certified copy of the logbook somehow and send that, rather than posting the original document ?
Many thanks for your advice.
Rob.

just ask for it back and send self addressed , make sure its not on dvla already if it is you wont get it ,  it will more than likely be none trans  so of no value if you thinking of selling it on . the last one i did i think they asked for £55  >:( this was about 2 years ago

Needs to go via the BSAOC. Dont send direct to DVLA.

Any V765 authorised signatory from any club can copy and authenticate the old log book.  See the note on reverse of the form V765.

Thanks for your replies.  I'm planning to send it via BSAOC.

Are there any V765 authorised signatories from BSAOC anywhere near Waterlooville, Hampshire, willing to do this ?

Thanks again
Rob.

hi rob,
steve foden in the bsa o.c. will deal with you application and recommend to dvla that you should retain your existing registration. the original forms needed came from dvla but because of covid 19 i was able to download the forms instead. providing the frame number  matches the green log book everything should be smooth. my successful application took around 2 months earlier this year with dvla and that is with covid 19 issues at swansea.
