Hi everyone !
I hope that you are all well and keeping safe.
I am new to forums and hope that I am allowed to post the following.
I Used to be  an Agent for Nova transmissions. I marketed BSA and Velocette 5 speed gearsets. They could not supply regularily and/or had other racing interests so I gave up on it.
The upshot is that I have for sale my last   complete Nova 5 speed road ratio A10 gear box brand new never used fits all BSAs .
It made such a difference over 4 speeds that I had to fit them to all my bikes . I have held onto it thinking it would go into another bike but I rarely ride the ones I have. I have not posted this elswhere preferring that this item should go to a "BSA rider"

I can be contacted on 07899 925357 thanks for reading

I can imagine it's going to be expensive.... :)

You could always sell the bike that you want it to fit to fund it. At least you would have a rare thing to look at.

If you have to ask the price the price you know you cant afford it!

I'll stick to my 4 speed box and spend the money on a holiday if and when I can.

Still sounds very expensive!  :) not that I want it anyway.....

Hi,

It does sound like a lot of money but if you were to find all of the components for a standard box new I suspect it would cost about the same.  Good condition used pinions seem to go for about £40 so by the time you buy 8 plus shafts, selectors etc. the cost will spiral and you will still have a used gearbox.  If starting with an empty gear box and intending to do a good mileage then it would probably be worthwhile.  I suspect that there may be no VAT involved so it would be useful to get the actual asking price.   If it was for an A65 I would have it in a flash or should that be a thunderbolt.

Dave.
