Is it possible to remove the grub screw and steering lock without first taking off the headlamp nacelle and shroud? If not I assume it would be necessary to drop the forks?

I haven't checked on my A10, but the grub screw looks as though it is in the front of the top yoke and therefore covered by the top of the nacelle. Might be worth looking through the back of the headlight shell to confirm this. If so, the clamp bolts would need to removed but it might be possible to slide down the nacelle enough without removing the forks.

You should be able to access the grub screw by removing the headlamp. What is wrong with the lock.

Thanks for your advice guys. In answer to your question Idie unfortunately there were no keys when I bought the bike.

When I find them in the garage.  You can have a new one for £5 plus postage if you are interested. With two keys.

Thanks for the offer Idie but I have already ordered and paid for one.

Hi idie,I would be interested ,Does the barrel come with the two keys?

idie

Yes it does. I needed a lock for my B33 and at the time I found that it was cheaper to buy five rather then one. They are from India but all seem to work alright. I bought them a couple of years ago, I'll need to find them. I will get back to you soon.

Hi I have found the locks. £6.64 with postage. PM me your address and I'll send it off.
