I wondered if it is possible to replace my split front fork rubber gaiters without removing the forks , and also can anyone recommend suppliers of decent items , I did wonder if it was possible to change them by only removing the front wheel and mudguard

That's the way I did it recently. Keep em lubricated and a bit of care required going past the various obstructions.

I did the same as Mike.

Before you put the new ones on, coat them liberally with a silicone spray or Mr Sheen (which is silicone based) inside and out... it will help them to last longer.
