Spitfire colour

[Robspitfire]

Hi folks, I'm about ready to paint my Spitfire fiberglass tank and have been told that there are two colours. Apparently, the mk11 was initially launched in peony red but later could be had in a brighter red that I don't have the name of. Anyone know what this brighter red may be called?
Regards Bob
