B31 Oil Feeds

Think I have lost the plot, can someone confirm before i make a right pigs ear, the oil feed from the tank via the filter, goes to the inner of the 2 unions in the crank case, and the outer union is the return to the tank, I think I'm having a blonde moment ah ah ah....HELP
