Have you tried Burton Bike Bits (See BSAOC Links)?  They supplied me with a new filter and banjo bolt for my B44R.

Thanks
Burton list two but neither are available

Hi. I have a late model engine with side points. The gauze has 2 holes in it as there is an additional pipe in the crankcase & fits with the raised part uppermost.

Thanks for that, not sure what to do next.
Engine came with the crankcase assembled.
I have completed about 300 miles since rebuild everything seems fine.
I also have side point and crankcase marked SS80
No sign of any other pipe near the sludge trap.
WHAT TO DO
PERHAPS someone with further knowledge can help ???

Further to the two hole mystery.
R.R. Page 30 show three pictures of the lubrication system all showing ONE pipe ??

Further reading of R.R. Says later engine fitted with a second pipe AS YOU SAID.
This carries oil from the pressure release valve.
On closer inspection my engine has a second pipe.
I put not at first seeing this down to my great age !!
Difficult to gain a view underneath.
Thanks to all who answered
