Hi Guys

I've just started the stripdown of my latest restoration project- 1954 Plunger C11G

I've got the piston off- eventually (!) but I cant determine if it is oversize or not- there are no stamps for +20/+40 etc all that is stamped on the crown is

3   D/B and   29-2274.

Inside the piston it is BSA 27-1680

Do I assume its standard ?

Also ...any tips on freeing the rings- the top one is solid

cheers

Can you not just measure the piston? Each 20 thou rebore will put 1/2 mm on the piston diameter.

29 2274 is the part number for a bare standard size piston.
