M20 Mag/dyno

Hi I've just got my mag/dyno back from refurb (which cost ouch)and I obviously wish to fit it correctly.
I have never put an M20 mag on before so: - My mag has four studs on the bottom. Are they just locators or do they have an adjustment function.
Any other tips ----yes please---gratefully accepted.
