Lubrication of chain drive for dynamo - A10

Hi BSA Hivemind!

Apologies if this has already been covered, just looking for a little info I can not find elsewhere.

I have just replaced the dynamo on my 1960 A10 and before I fit the crank case cover I was wondering about lubricating the chain that drives the dynamo. Is this lubricated by the system that lubricates the engine?  I cannot see any points of flow and return for oil, should I clean and re oil?  In the same housing is the is the magneto and oil pump.  I removed some oil/grease from around the pump so as to ensure the new gasket works. 

Is there anything I should do before replacing the cover?

What sort of grease?  How much?  Just around the cogs and the chain?

Pack about 50%, when the engine warms the grease drops to the bottom of the cavity and is lifted by the large sprocket around the area.

I fitted the DR kit to my plunger A10. The reduction in mechanical noise was very noticeable and it charges well at lower revs, which suits the raised transmission gearing nicely.

The DVR belt drive is also much easier to remove with extractor thread in small pulley and treaded holes in the large. Removing the chain pinions can be fraught.
