Getting close to finishing this restoration. Just fitted a brand Amal standard carb, supplied with Top Hats. Quite surprised how little clearance there is between the the top of the carb and the frame. I have an expensive billet Amal throttle with no adjustment. I need some advice on dealing with throttle and choke connections with this lack of clearance please.

I would like to thank everyone for there advice so far helping me build this box of bits with a V5.

Yes, the bend in the main tube leaves little room for the carb and requires the slide and top cap to be fitted before fitting the carb to the manifold.
Re yours, firstly, the Throttle and Choke cables adjustments are mid cable and they go into the top cap in just a plain ferrule. Theres no room for the adjusters on the carb top cap. Even with that, the bend in the cables are pretty tight to get around the Head Steady bracket. I find its best to place the cables through the HS bracket that's welded on the frame either side of the big nut that the HS bolts to. Also, keep the cable well oiled as that bend is so tight, it can stick due to rainwater getting in at the adjuster and dripping down the cable. I recommend getting some of those mid cable rubber boots to fit over the adjusters to stop ingress of water. I bought some from Feked about two years ago - mmmmmmm..... must get round to fitting them sometime.........
Hope that helps!

Thanks Editor, appreciate the reply. Waiting for final box of parts from Draganfly and Kidderminster M/C's. Probably be a few more threads to come.
