I just remembered what I did to my B33 in the sixties.
The front brake drum appeared to be just pushed on to the wheel hub.
I bought two spare wheels from the breakers. (second hand parts were dirt cheap then)
I dismantled one wheel and removed the brake drum from its hub.
I removed the long spokes from one side of the second wheel, fitted the second brake drum
and finished by fitting the short spokes to the second side.
So, I had a twin brake wheel, without buying any other parts.
I think I may have fitted a balancing arm for the brake cable.
Thats all I remember. I never drove hard enough to reach a limit on the standard brake.
but it was the fun of creating something new which appealed.
