A65 restoration???

Now have the Wheel back from rebuild. Looks Brill.

Sent frame, swinging arm, fork sliders and head stock off for PCoating.

Have enough parts to make an engine. Bought a previously un-ground crank from Manchester and cylinders from Devon still with only +010 wear. Casings from Worcester. Head from Norfolk, con rods from Durham. Clutch drum and plates from Oxford. And new pistons etc. Financial controller is not full aware at this stage

Just boxed up to go to be ground and bored. So we'll see

Just got my bits back from Powder Coating. I'll try to put them on here. I know it aint proper like but its maybe the last Beesa that I shall do so I thought I would do what I was unable to do 50 years or so back.

Is there a theme here Mike?

What A65 had a gold coloured frame? 

Is it a gold flash tribute? 

And more importantly has the financial controller found out yet?

Hi Derek. No No theme just a whim. Where it will go depends on what it looks like at each stage. Financial controller has part of the story. Wait till the kitchen is full of steam then walk in with a single piece and say something like "this bit came today and it only cost xxxxx" Not all the bits at once.

It will ultimately fail and I shall be demoted to sweeping the paths again.

Machine guns--good idea but cant get them here so it would mean a trip to the states.
Judging by a few words "in passing" I think I'm rumbled.

I'm probably at that stage---just think she is keeping me on my toes. Never mind --the funeral plan is all paid up. Seriously Yes I think its accepted. But we joke about it.
