Hi guys, I have a question about a petrol tap for my Bantam, the old one was very worn with no filter and the cork seal needed replacing, the original tank also leaked like a sieve, so the result was I bought a new tank form India.
They also told me that they could supply a petrol tap, it all sounded great, 3/8" to screw into the tank and a 1/4"BSP for the fuel feed. Except that it wasn't 1/4" or 1/8", as far as I can tell it is a 12m 1.75 metric thread, anyone got any idea where I can buy a 12m female thread with a 1/4" tail for the plastic hose please?
Had lots of help on here in the past especially form rhyatt.

Have a look on e-bay for hose tails / adapters as there are listings with every possible thread / hose size.

limeyrob if you don't mind may I update your post, I followed your lead, and I got hosepipe tails, so I entered
"automotive tails/adaptors" and I think I found what I wanted, ordered a couple of bits and just waiting for them.

Cheers.

Yes, I should have explained, it can take a while to work out the correct e-bay term for the part you want.  Some are very confusing.  I now do a google images search and see what the things I'm looking for are called on the web, then try that in e-bay.
