bantam d14/4 rear chain

Just brought a new chain from an ebay, seller assured it was for aD14/4, 1/2"x1/4", 120 links, l have now found more info saying 1/2"x3/16", 120 links is the right one.

Seller not responding to my emails, can l use the 1/2"x1/4 chain, or have l wasted my money as the old chain looks like it was 1/2"x3/16"

Hi,

The over size chain would cause unnecessary wear to the sprockets and the chain.  Did you buy direct or through ebay? If through ebay you should be able to send it back and get a refund.
