fit a Victor engine sprocket and primary chain to WD B40

Can you advise if the standard chain will fit with the 28 tooth sprocket from a Victor to improve WD B40 gearbox
Any suggestions as to where to buy from, TSM have the 28 tooth sprocket for £33, no idea about chain.

The standard sprocket for a B40WD is 18T according to the parts book. This means that with a 28T sprocket, the chain would need to be ~5 links longer. So simple answer, is that the standard chain will not be long enough. However, according to my calculations, you would need a 22T gearbox sprocket to make 4th gear the same as a standard B40.
