Just recommissioned a 1961 A10 Super Rocket after a couple of years sitting idle in the garage.
All okay apart from dried out petrol tap corks and hardened fiber washers which have been sorted but I also noticed that the Tacho is stuck at 6,000 rpm even when it was removed from the bike.
Is this just an adjustment or does it need to go for a service ... ?
If it does need a service are www.chronometrics.co.uk the best people to do this... ?

V500

Sometimes if you're lucky it can be reset by putting something like a matchstick in the hole and twisting it in the direction of rotation.
Other times (like on my A7) the grease has hardened and it needs a strip and clean. >:(

I've had this happen but found it corrected itself as so as the bike moved so, same proncople as V500.
Chronometrics would be the place to get it sorted if the above doesn't work.

Thanks for the suggestions - I tried that using the wooden end of a small paint brush and the needle seemed to free up and has returned back to its resting position.
Just need to put it back on the bike to see if it works ...  :D
