Crank worm drive

Hi guys
My 1967 bsa a65 has had a r/h crank conversion and putting it back together and noticed that there is no washer spacer that goes between the crank pinion gear and worm drive for the oil pump.  So is it installed if the conversion has taken place

Hi Mark if it's an SRM conversion I guess the only recourse is to ask them
