I only know my JIS screwdrivers as they have a blue handle.  I do not think you have a chance of spotting one in a jumble.

I took a photo and I only know which one is JIS because I have used the Phillips one a lot and it is starting to wear. I was wondering if I had been taken for a ride but look at this web site. https://revlimiter.net/blog/2014/09/the-japanese-phillips-jis-screwdrivers/

This has also prompted me to look closely at all my cross head screwdrivers so I can throw out the worn ones before I bugger up screws.

Just browsing latest posts and I to have never heard of jis bits so had a look on Amazon and yes impact bits available there. It interested me in as much my work quite often involved shower enclosures ( probably all made in you know where) and I've always struggled to find a screwdriver that fits the supplier screws and end up chewing heads to bits left right a n centre. I use JIS screwdrivers made by the Japanese firm Vessel. I have eight of them, all JIS cross heads in sizes from 000 to 3. I can undo chewed up screws on Japanese bikes with these, and they are great with Phillips screws, too. The Megadora range have blue handles and are simply screwdrivers; I have five of them. I have a couple from the Woody range that have handles made from resin and wood; you can still grip them if your hands are oily. I also have one from the Impacta range. Screwdrivers in this range are actually made for being hit on the handle end with a hammer; there's a cam inside that rotates the bit a few degrees anti clockwise.

Vessel also make an impact driver, but I couldn't find it available new from anyone in the UK.
