oil weep from timing cover

Continuing with my sort-out of the A50, I have an oil weep from one of the holes in the inner timing cover of the A50. Oil weeps slowly out of the hole where the lower front screw goes to retain the outer cover. This would explain finding a bit of oil under the outer timing cover.
I suspect the gasket on the inner cover is not sealing around where this long screw goes. I am a bit reluctant to remove the inner cover unless necessary. Any suggestions as to sealing this weep which is coming down the threads of the screw? Considered ptfe or some hylomar blue on the threads. Not keen on making an RTV gasket for the complete outer cover!

Around that area is a small drilling inside the inner timing cover, the hole accessed the dry side of that cover, if it's coming from there then it could be a failed idler gear oil seal. Be worth taking the Outer cover off And having a look.

Hi,
There are some screw tapings that extend into the crankcase and oil travels along the thread. I would use either an alloy washer part number 40-0740 or blue hylomar.

Best wishes...
