The numberplate is a London series issued June-September 1934.

Bike is a Blue Star. Cant say whether the 250, 350 or 500cc model.

Hi Thank you for the information, I'm retiring soon and will be looking for one, my Grandfather did make it back, however he was shot in the Leg as a Dispatch rider, before making the beach

Bit of a rarity but they do turn up now and again . I'm sure people will keep an eye open for one .  Leave a search on https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/ it worked for me on my square four .

Given the size of the front brake relative to the front wheel I would say a 250.

Trying to collect all 1936 models. Still missing the B3.

Many thanks for the information, very useful 👌🏻👌🏻

This is the 350 from the 1934 catalogue.

JulianS

And this is the 250 from same catalogue.

Given that the 1934 250cc Blue Star has a 7" brake and a straight brake arm and the 1933 250 cc Blue Star a 5.5"brake and a curved brake arm I have now come to the conclusion that it is in fact a 1933 2055 Blue Star.
